Mrs. Annie Ruth West, 79, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Friday, May 18, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Laurel, MS on Wednesday, May 3, 1939 to Willie Coley and Blanche Coley. She was a member of Boyles Chapel United Methodist Church. She retired from Wells Lamont as a Machine Operator. Mrs. West is preceded in death by her husband, Leon E. "Stub" West; father, Willie Coley and mother, Blanche Coley; daughter, Laverne Lofton; brothers, Lavelle Coley, Jackie Coley; sisters, Melba Sims, Doris Ulmer; brother-in-law, L. J. West. She is survived by her son, Donald Ray West (Ruby), Waynesboro, MS; daughter, Donna Hudson (Glenn), Clara, MS; brother, Joe Coley, Waynesboro, MS; sisters, Mavis Goldman, Clara, MS, Ethel McDonald, Sandersville, MS; brothers-in-law, Willie J. West (Joann), Tom West (Louise), both of Waynesboro, MS; sister-in-law, Annette West, Waynesboro, MS; 6 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. West will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, May 21, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home Rev. Glenn Freeman officiating. Interment will be in Boyles Chapel Cemetery.
