Lula Pauline (Gardner) Reynolds

Mrs. Lula Pauline Gardner Reynolds, 91, of State Line, MS passed peacefully from this life Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Comfort Care Nursing Home in Laurel, MS. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Wayne County, MS on Sunday, May 3, 1931 to Jim and Early Mae Gardner. She was a member of Eret Baptist Church.  She had worked in the Public School System for a number of years.  Mrs. Lula is preceded in death by  her husband, J. D. Reynolds; parents, Jim Gardner and Early Mae Gardner; son, Clyde Reynolds; 9 Brothers and Sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Ann Bradley (Alan), Laurel, MS; daughter-in-law, Dorcus Reynolds, Waynesboro, MS; 4 grandchildren, Cory Reynolds (Tasha), Petal, MS, Adam Reynolds (Heather), Petal, MS, Kayla Farris (Bret), Hattiesburg, MS, Lauren Clark (Reyn), Laurel, MS, 7 great grandchildren, Kyndal Reynolds, Cooper Reynolds, Evan Reynolds, Emma Reynolds, Elizabeth Farris, Samantha Farris, Cole Clark; special friend, Althea Smith. Visitation for Mrs. Lula will be held from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday, January 16, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 16, 2023 at State Line Cemetery in State Line, MS with lifetime friend, Dr. Aubrey Keith Lucas and Rev. Glen Bynum officiating. Pallbearers will be Cory Reynolds, Adam Reynolds, Bret Farris, Reyn Clark, Larry Gardner, and Roger Gardner. Honorary Pallbearers will be Don Lucas, Logan Lucas, and Jerry K. Smith.
