Mr. Thomas Kenneth Stanley, III, 84, a resident of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Wednesday, September 27, 1933 to Thomas K. and Pansy Stanley. Mr. Stanley served in the United States Marine Corps and was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Wayne Haven United Methodist Church and was retired as owner and operator of Stanley Oil Company. Mr. Stanley is preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Ruth Stanley; mother, Pansy Stanley; father, Nub Stanley; son, Kenneth Alan "Shorty" Stanley; son-in-law, Gerald L. "Curley" Williams; brother, Joe Stanley; 2 sisters, Jan Gatlin, Kathy Sheryl Stanley. He is survived by his 2 sons, Keith Stanley (Tanya), Kevan Stanley both of Waynesboro; daughter, Karen Williams of Waynesboro; brother, Larry Stanley (Barbara) of Waynesboro; brother-in-law, Ray Gatlin of Waynesboro; 8 grandchildren, Ben Williams, Claire Williams, Courtney Robertson, Brock Stanley, Erin Baxter, Beth Stanley, Mary Katherine Stanley, Faith Stanley; 10 great grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. Stanley will be held from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 19, 2017 in the Wayne Haven United Methodist Church in Waynesboro. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 19, 2017 from the Wayne Haven United Methodist Church in Waynesboro with Rev. Tom Walker and Rev. Ron Stanley officiating. Interment will be in Wayne Haven Methodist Cemetery in Waynesboro.
