Mr. Scott Richard Howse, 29, of Buckatunna, MS passed from this life Saturday, November 18, 2017 in Houston, TX. He was born on Tuesday, July 5, 1988 in Laurel Mississippi. Scott was a graduate of Wayne County High School and was a member of the Chicora Masonic Lodge #538. He worked in the Oil Field as an Electrician with Zadok Technologies. Scott was an "epic" sportsman who loved to hunt, fish, anything to do with the outdoors. Scott is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Gladys "Granky" Howse; maternal grandfather, Patrick Johnson; brother, Eric Howse; step-mother, Sharon T. Howse. He is survived by his parents, Rick Howse (Cindy) and Lesley Roberson; son, Bostyn Ayce Howse; daughter, Kylie Crabtree; the mother of his children, Ashley Newman; grandfather, Paul Howse; grandparents, J. C. and  Peggy Joubert; siblings, Jenna Howse, Lane Havard (Josh), Kristopher Howse, Kristen Soetaert (Scot); nieces, Kennedy Havard, Kenzie Havard, Penny Davis, Chloè Davis, Lexi Soetaert, Scotie Soetaert; nephews, Hagan Havard, Patrick Soetaert, Ethan Soetaert. Scott considered many other special people his "family". His hunting buddies along with their families meant the world to him. Visitation for Mr. Howse will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Buckatunna United Methodist Church, 36 Church Street, Buckatunna, MS with Funeral Services to follow at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the church. Rev. Jesse Long and Rev. David Roberson will officiate with Kay Clark providing special music. Pallbearers will be Josh Havard, Mark Turner, Landon McCaa, Shane McCaa, Brandon Speed, Scot Soetaert, with Kris Howse serving as Honorary Pallbearer. Interment will be in Winchester Cemetery.
