Mrs. Ostra Williams, 88, a resident of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Friday, February 15, 1929 in Waynesboro to Emma and John Thomas Stevens. She was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church and was retired as a store manager for Dollar General. Mrs. Williams is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Williams; mother, Emma Stevens; father, John Thomas Stevens; 2 brothers, Curtis "Bud" Stevens, Pete Stevens; 3 sisters, Eula Davis, Ellen Mason, Jewel Stevens. She is survived by 4 sons, Kenneth Williams, Tommy Williams, Don Williams (Kay), Dennis Williams all of Waynesboro; 2 daughters, Frances Hutcherson (W. E.), Sandra Hennis (James) both of Waynesboro; 11 grandchildren, Keith Hutcherson, Randy Hutcherson, Brian Williams, Brandon Walley, Jerod Hennis, Kelsey Thurston, Beth Shirley, Christina Hutto, Amanda Beal, April Williams, Dana Langley; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Williams will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 16, 2017 in the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS 39367. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, November 16, 2017 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro with Rev. Mitchell Smith and Rev. Chase Herrington officiating. Interment will be in White House Cemetery in Waynesboro.
