Manda Lyne Crane

Mrs. Manda Lyne Crane, 97, of Buckatunna, MS passed from this life Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Brookwood Villa Personal Care Home in Waynesboro, MS. She was born in Chicora, MS on Wednesday, April 28, 1920 to Frank N. Lee and Nancy Fox Lee. She was a member of Buckatunna United Methodist Church. Mrs. Crane was retired as a Public School Teacher. She was a lifetime member of the Southern Miss Alumni Association (50 Years). She was also a member of the Eagles Club and served in various other clubs and organizations in the field of education. Mrs. Crane is preceded in death by her husband, Tony Crane, Sr.; mother, Nancy Fox Lee; father, Frank N. Lee; 5 brothers; 3 sisters. She is survived by her son, Tony Crane, Jr. (Elizabeth) of Waynesboro, MS; granddaughter, Julie Lynn Waller (Jason) of Ellisville, MS; 2 great granddaughters, Shelbi Lynn Humphrey, Lauren Elizabeth Humphrey; a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are: James Michael Lee, Charles Mason, Ronnie Crane, Dr. Todd Stokley, James Mills, and Fred Carr. Honorary Pallbearers are: Paul Howse, Zeb "Bud" Stokley, and Paul Laurent. Visitation for Mrs. Crane will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, April 6, 2018 in the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS 39367. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 7, 2018 in the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Jack Wooten, Rev. Jesse Long, and Rev. Mitchell Smith officiating. Interment will be in Winchester Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
