Mrs. Josie Lee Hinton, 88, a native and resident of Wayne County, MS died Saturday, August 03, 2013 at Pine View Health Care Center in Waynesboro. She was a member of Corinth Freewill Baptist Church and retired as a Store Manager at a Clothing Store. Mrs. Hinton is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Hinton; son, Bobby Hinton; grandson, Jeffery Hinton; 3 granddaughters, Jennifer Hinton, Mandy Hinton, Tracy Hinton. She is survived by 2 sons, Billy Hinton (Frances), Skip Hinton (JoAnn) both of Waynesboro; 4 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; pallbearers are, William Thomas Busby, Dan Cooley, Billy Hinton, Doug Hinton, Dennis Polk, Ronnie Walley; honorary pallbearers are, Kyle Byrd, Brandon Hinton Waller, Dustin Scott Hinton. Visitation for Mrs. Hinton will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday, August 05, 2013 in the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 06, 2013 from the Corinth Freewill Baptist Church in Wayne County, MS with Rev. Robert Dykes, Rev. Jack Jones, and Rev. William R. Mills officiating. Interment will be in Corinth Cemetery, Wayne County, MS.
