Mr. James Vaughan Davis, 82, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Monday, December 25, 2017 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. He was born in Waynesboro on Monday, October 7, 1935. He had worked as a Machine Operator at Day Veneer Company. Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Faye Davis. He is survived by 4 sons, Johnny Davis (Teresa), James Randy Davis (Linda), Ralph Davis, Rufus Davis (Jennifer); daughter, Judy Faye Davis; 2 brothers, Mike Davis, Virgil Davis, all of Waynesboro, MS; 16 Grandchildren, 26 Great Grandchildren, 5 Great Great Grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. Davis will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Morris and Rev. Edward Bean officiating. Interment will be in Lee's Chapel Cemetery.
