Mr. Eldridge Lee Bunch, 84, a resident of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life on Friday, January 12, 2018 at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Waynesboro on Thursday, December 28, 1933 to Eldridge "Son" and Byrdie Gandy Bunch. Mr. Bunch served in the National Guard. He was a member of Waynesboro First Baptist Church and was retired as a supervisor for Northern Electric Company and Sunbeam. Mr. Bunch is preceded in death by his mother, Byrdie Gandy Bunch; father, Son Bunch; 2 brothers, Nolan Bunch, Buford Earl Bunch; 3 sisters, Ella Whittington, Zella Powell, Mattie Walker. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 1/2 years, Mary Helen Bunch of Waynesboro; son, Leroy Bunch (Lisa) of Muscle Shoals, AL; daughter, Sam Trigg of Waynesboro; 2 brother-in-law’s, Sam Mauldin, Jr., Allen Walker both of Waynesboro; 3 grandchildren, Morgan Curry (Drake), Kristen Bunch, Jordan Bunch; 2 great grandchildren, Levi Curry, Liam Curry; several nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mr. Bunch will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday, January 13, 2018 in the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS 39367. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 14, 2018 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro with Dr. Steve Smith and Rev. Doug White officiating. Interment will be in Serenity Gardens Cemetery in Waynesboro.
