Dale Woodson Farrior

Mr. Dale Woodson Farrior, 71, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Regency Hospital in Meridian, MS. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Monday, April 1, 1946 to Marion Augusta Farrior and Willie Mamie Farrior.  He was a member and Deacon of Calvary Baptist Church. Mr. Dale was a proud graduate of University of Southern Mississippi where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. He retired as Corporate Executive from LTV Energy Products Company in Houston, TX. Returning to Waynesboro, Mr. Dale opened and operated Tire Services on Azalea Drive for 20 years. Mr. Dale is preceded in death by his father, Marion Augusta Farrior and mother, Willie Mamie Farrior. He is survived by his wife of 50 Years, Carolyn Smith Farrior; 2 daughters, Tracy Farrior Oglesby (David), Madison, MS, Allison Farrior Jones (Dave), Katy, TX; brother, James Farrior, Waynesboro, MS; 2 sisters, Janie Hyatt, Pelham, AL, Wanda Lofton, Clara, AL; and 4 grandchildren, Alec Yarbrough, Elizabeth Oglesby, Mary Katherine Oglesby, Julianna Jones. Visitation for Mr. Dale will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church, 615 South Street, Waynesboro, MS. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:30 AM Thursday at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Bo Farrior and Rev. Paul Harris officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church for the Baptist Children's Home.
